ABOUT THE ROLE
Write medical AI content that earns the trust of doctors and the attention of patients. You'll bring a clinical background — MD, RN, PharmD, or equivalent — and pair it with strong editorial craft. You'll translate lab panels, drug interactions, imaging reports, and AI model behavior into pieces that are medically accurate, citation-ready, and accessible. Every article you ship has to pass the same bar a peer reviewer would expect.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Responsibilities
Write 2–3 long-form medical articles per week — clinical explainers, AI-in-clinic pieces, lab interpretation guides
Review and clinically fact-check articles written by other content team members before publication
Cite primary literature (PubMed, clinical guidelines, regulatory documents) and flag anything that can't be sourced
Translate dense clinical topics (e.g., TSH reference ranges, antibiotic stewardship, MDR imaging) for a general audience without dumbing them down
Maintain editorial standards for medical accuracy, evidence quality, and disclosure language
Coordinate with the engineering team to verify AI behavior claims before they appear in articles
Review and approve AI-disclosure language in product surfaces that reference clinical information
Build and maintain a clinical citations library the whole content team can draw from
Stay current on EU AI Act, MDR, and FDA guidance for clinical AI — surface implications to the team
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Requirements
Clinical degree (MD, MBBS, RN, PharmD, PA, or equivalent) — active license preferred but not required
2+ years writing or editing — portfolio of long-form clinical or health content
You can read a primary study and tell us what it actually means for a patient
Strong citation discipline — you never paraphrase a stat you can't back up
Comfortable using AI research tools (PubMed, OpenFDA, RxNorm, Europe PMC) and AI writing assistants
Experience with medical SEO, structured data, and AI-citation readiness is a strong plus
You're careful about medical claims language — you understand why 'treats' and 'is associated with' aren't interchangeable
AI-native workflow: comfortable using tools like OpenCode or Claude Code to speed up research and editing
