Finance & Operations Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE
Run the financial backbone of Premedice — from monthly close and runway modeling to vendor management, compliance filings, and investor reporting. You'll be the person who turns founder chaos into clean numbers and audit-ready processes. As we scale, you'll own the finance stack, manage our accountants and legal partners, and prepare the company for institutional diligence.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Responsibilities
Own monthly close, cash forecasting, and runway reporting
Build and maintain the financial model — revenue, costs, headcount, and unit economics
Manage vendor contracts, payments, subscriptions, and SaaS spend
Coordinate with accountants on corporate tax, VAT, and payroll across jurisdictions
Prepare monthly investor updates, cap table updates, and board financial packs
Own healthcare-specific compliance finance: GDPR, MDR-adjacent documentation, AI Act readiness
Implement finance tooling — chart of accounts, expense policy, approval workflows
Manage Stripe / Creem payouts, refunds, chargeback monitoring, and revenue recognition
Lead the diligence data room for any future fundraise or banking application
Build the operational playbook for headcount planning, OKRs, and quarterly business reviews
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Requirements
4+ years in finance, accounting, or operations — startup experience strongly preferred
You've owned a financial close or built a model from scratch
Comfortable with Stripe, QuickBooks/Xero, and modern finance tooling
Strong spreadsheet skills — you can build a model, not just read one
Understanding of cross-border tax basics (VAT, GST, corporate tax) and when to escalate
Healthcare, SaaS, or marketplace finance experience is a strong plus
Discreet — you'll handle sensitive compensation, cap table, and investor data
AI-native workflow: you use tools like OpenCode, Claude Code, or Cursor to speed up analysis
